So, I hear that dogs sleep on average 18 hours a day. Ah, to be a dog. The reason I wanted to talk about this today is because we have an American Cocker Spaniel who is the worlds loudest snoring canine. He sleeps on his back, legs flailing and thrashing in the air all of the time snoring and grunting his little heart out at full volume.
He is the cutest fellow. All 40 pounds of him. He loves to snuggle and has the biggest paws that I have ever seen. Gentle and dedicated, Jordie is 5 years old and still acts like a pup in every way. Jordie is wonderful with all children and in my opinion the breed makes a wonderful family companion.
He can run at the speed of sound. Loves squirrels, chipmunks and deer. Eats everything in site that is not on the menu and jumps for joy when you say the word “walk”. Jordie is as excited to see you after you have gone out to dinner as he is after you turn the corner in the house.
He is fluffy, has big floppy heavy ears, sensitive toes and a spotted nose. Very friendly with our two other dogs, he is the youngest of our three and is loved by everyone who meets him. So, if you want a loving, gentle, strong, snoring, grunting large American Cocker Spaniel. Think of a Jordie dog.
